particles. Prefilters can be attached to 3M™ 6000 series cartridges to
provide particulate protection from certain solid and liquid particles when
used with 3M™ facepieces. Use the 3M™ Filter Retainer 501 (SMRF501) to attach
one filter to each cartridge to help filter certain particulates including
dusts, mists, fibers, and metal fumes in addition to a broad range of gases
and vapors.
